New SCHAKO DSCXL

Ceiling slot diffuser for large air volumes to be integrated in plasterboard ceilings

 

Kolbingen, 11. März 2019 – Suited for large air volumes and still hardly visible: this is the new straight SCHAKO DSCXL for plasterboard ceilings and pressure ceilings.

 

The ceiling slot diffuser SCHAKO DSCXL with a specially shaped frame profile is intended for large air volumes for direct installation in plasterboard ceilings or ceiling cavities (pressure ceilings) in rooms with a height of 2.6 m to 4 m.

 

The special frame profile shape of the SCHAKO DSCXL allows for good installation in the plasterboard ceiling. The frame profiles are fitted with bores to allow the SCHAKO DSCXL to be connected to the plasterboard ceiling using screws.

 

The air deflection blades adjustable from below in the SCHAKO DSCXL allow for various throw adjustment options. Thus, the air throw pattern in cooling mode and heating mode can be adjusted. Very good induction is achieved while the velocity and temperature difference of the supply air jet are effectively reduced. A good Coanda effect and very good Induction facilitate the use of SCHAKO DSCXL in cooling mode up to ΔT ≤ -8 K.

 

The resistance created by the blades ensures that the supply air is distributed equally across the whole length of the SCHAKO DSCXL slot diffuser. Very high flow rates on a very small slot surface can be realised in this way.

 

The SCHAKO DSCXL is available as a one-slot version with or without plenum box in lengths of up to 1500 mm, both with plenum box, damper, rubber lip seal and with insulation, too.
