Air-circulation water cassette unit UKGW
Fields of application
The SCHAKO UKGW is a decentralised, ceiling-mountable cold water cassette unit with optional primary air connection. It is characterised by high thermal performance in a small space and an attractive design.
It can be used for heating, cooling, with or without fresh air supply. The appliance is available in different versions to fulfil all aesthetic and functional requirements. It has various filter options from ISO Coarse 40 % to ISO ePM1 70 %, design front grilles in different colours, additional frames for adaptation to different ceiling grids or for free-hanging installation, primary air connection, pressure-independent control valve kits with actuator, room thermostat and ModBus connectivity.
They are used wherever high thermal loads and high demands are placed on acoustics and design. In education centres, office spaces, conference rooms, meeting rooms and waiting rooms, as well as restaurants, cafés, shopping centres, shops and train stations
Function
The fan draws in the secondary air through the front grille and the filter and blows it through the heat exchanger with cold water flowing through it, in which the secondary air is thermally conditioned and finally fed into the room via the supply air diffuser. An optional connection for treated primary air can be fitted ex works so that the entire cooling, heating and ventilation requirements can be covered by the appliance. Numerous safety functions, as well as temperature and humidity sensors, ensure that the air jet remains stable and that no condensation can form on the air outlet surfaces of the appliance.
